Golf Industry - PGA SHOW
INTRODUCTION
In 2023 Dual Studios was hired by Golfzon to create content that captured their presence at the annual PGA Show. The PGA show - held in Orlando - is the most meaningful rallying point of the year for the business of golf. PGA Professionals and industry leaders join together to network and test the newest products, programs and ideas to inspire innovation, create solutions, and build business and passion for the game. Golfzon, as a leader in the golf innovation and simulator space had one of the largest booths available on the showroom and our team at Dual Studios was there to capture all of the action.
In the short 2.5 day window that the PGA showroom floor was open, Dual needed to capture video for social media content that told Golfzon’s PGA Show story in real time, as well as footage for long form content that would be posted at later dates with the purpose of promoting Golfzon products.
Prior to the PGA Show beginning, Dual also created video content to be screened and shown at the physical Golfzon booth with the purpose of turning passerby’s into potential customers. These videos were delivered in multiple aspect ratios optimized for the different sizes of TV’s and video walls that were displayed on site at the PGA Show.
THE TASK
Our execution began by making sure that Golfzon’s video content that was being displayed at the actual PGA Show was of the highest quality there. We carefully crafted cinematic reels and commercials that were shown in their booth and on their massive TV wall. These visuals drew in the crowds, which allowed us to find subjects to be used in our content.
On arrival to the PGA Show, Dual deployed two main teams: one that focused on social media content, and one that focused on long form content. Both teams divided and conquered to maximize the small 2.5 day window. Dual’s team took over all of Golfzon’s social media channels and executed on multiple scripted concepts that engaged audiences that both were and were not in attendance at the actual show. Using humor and a focus on Golfzon’s impeccable technology, Dual was able to create a complete campaign that catapulted Golfzon into the PGA Show limelight, culminating with the actual PGA Show team sharing Golfzon’s daily content to promote the larger event.
