DUAL STUDIOS - EDITOR

About this role:

We are looking for a self-starter to join our team as our Full-Time Editor. This storyteller will be responsible for taking our raw video assets and crafting them into finely tuned projects for a variety of channels and clients. The ideal candidate should be able to work on multiple projects at once and pursue new projects without supervision based on their own storytelling sense and ideas. Not only are they extremely creative, but our editor should be extremely conscientious when it comes to keeping our library of video footage neatly organized and readily accessible for the rest of our team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Edit and finalize video projects from raw footage.

  • Organize, manage, and optimize video assets and their storage. 

  • Prepare and publish content on all Dual Studios channels (Vimeo, YouTube, Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) 

Required skills:

  • Non-linear editing experience (Adobe Premiere or DaVinci Resolve preferred)

  • Media organization, video codec, and aspect ratio mastery

  • Motion graphics creation (Adobe After Effects preferred) 

  • Impeccable sense of editing rhythm and pacing 

  • Experience in coloring footage (DaVinci Resolve preferred) 

  • Keen storytelling sense 

Preferred skills:

  • Advanced coloring abilities

  • Cinema 4D experience

  • Audio Editing (Adobe Audition) 

  • Server and asset storage optimization knowledge (Synology Preferred)

  • Design capabilities (Photoshop, Canva)

  • Camera experience for both video and stills is a plus

  • On set DIT and knowledge of Shotput
