INTRODUCTION
Get Your Teach On (GYTO) specializes in professional development and encouragement for educators and administrators in the form of conferences, workshops and events. GYTO’s yearly national conference is their biggest event and is packed full of amazing presenters, performers, and breakout sessions. Their 2024 National Conference was held in Orlando, FL and was attended by over 7000 educators and education professionals and included performances by the Jonas Brothers, Ed Mylet, Levar Burton and more.
GYTO’s conferences are meant to leave educators feeling empowered, motivated, and prepared to create dynamic lessons for their students. Our team at Dual Studios was tasked with creating four daily recap videos that communicated the energy, magic, and enthusiasm that is felt throughout the GYTO conference to their entire social media audience and beyond.
We needed the content to serve three main purposes: properly illustrate the energy of physically attending the conference, get the attendees excited to attend the following day of professional development, and effectively market the conference and GYTO’s methodology to viewers on their digital channels.
THE TASK
OUR APPROACH
Our team deployed a six person team in order to properly capture an event on the scale of the GYTO National Conference. Our team worked tirelessly from filming the opening keynote speeches starting at 8:00 a.m. with our editing team sometimes working past the midnight hour in order to deliver the one minute recap video to be posted first thing in the morning of the following day. These edits included on site visual effects creation to add extra special and memorable moments to the edits.
Throughout the entirety of each day of the conference our team had multiple cameras dividing and conquering so we could acquire footage from every one of the different breakout groups and speakers. Our edits were delivered in both 16x9 and 9x16 aspect ratios so GYTO would have optimized sizing for posting to different social media outlets. In between the recap video filming, our team also managed to capture multiple interviews with attendees of the conference to then create testimonial videos for GYTO’s marketing use after the conference was over.
THE RESULT

Creating event content is one thing, creating content and posting content within 8 hours of the event ending is a completely different story. Each asset every day is delivered in a timely manner so 7,000 attendees can relieve the moments instantly!
